Attached is the link to the latest Construction Code & Licensing Division (CCLD) quarterly newsletter.
While it is always a good idea to review what CCLD has to say, there is one provision that members must continually be aware of and vigilant when contracts are being signed by clients and contractors. The provision is a reminder that contractors are NOT allowed to pay deductibles and they MUST put the statutory provision in their contracts so clients understand that paying deductibles are illegal.
